Decision Model Tags Feed

A decision model turns defined inputs into a proposed action. In an editorial feed, keep those rules proportionate and reviewable.

Make the rule visible.

The core idea

A classification label does not automatically justify an action. A rule that sends a candidate to review is different from a rule that publishes it to an audience. Identify the consequences of each decision and reserve uncertain or sensitive cases for appropriate human review.

A workable starting pattern

Write the decision rule in ordinary language before implementing it. Name the inputs, missing-data behavior, escalation path, and responsible owner. Test examples near the boundary and record why a decision was accepted or overridden. Avoid numerical thresholds that have no demonstrated meaning in the task.

AN EXAMPLE TO THINK THROUGH

An item with an unverified summary can enter an editorial queue rather than a public digest. A reviewer’s approval changes its publishing state; a model’s confidence value alone does not.

What this page does—and does not—offer

These are low-stakes editorial workflow patterns, not a decision service for employment, credit, healthcare, or market outcomes.
