Domain Names Tags Feed

Domain names can organize source collections, but they should not replace article identity, publisher context, or page-level subjects.

Keep the domain distinct from the document.

The core idea

A domain is a useful source attribute. It is not, by itself, a complete description of the publication or proof that every page shares the same purpose. Preserve the specific URL and source record for each item. Keep any editorial assessment of the publication separate from the domain string.

A workable starting pattern

Normalize source references consistently while preserving the canonical destination. Document how aliases and moved publications are handled. Avoid collapsing unrelated sub-sections or treating a domain extension as a quality score. Review source-level descriptions when the publication materially changes.

AN EXAMPLE TO THINK THROUGH

A tutorial and a company announcement can live on the same domain and still answer different reader questions. Their source attribute can match while their format and subject fields remain distinct.

What this page does—and does not—offer

TagsFeed is not a domain registrar, appraisal service, or marketplace. No availability, ownership, price, or investment claims are provided.
