AI & understanding / INDEPENDENT FIELD GUIDE

AI Tags Feed

AI-assisted labels and summaries can support an editorial workflow. Make the task narrow, the source recoverable, and the approval decision explicit.

Add understanding. Keep the evidence.

The core idea

Treat AI enrichment as a layer beside the original item, not a replacement for it. A suggested topic, a short summary, and a sentiment annotation answer different questions. Store them separately so a reviewer can accept one and reject another without changing the source record.

A workable starting pattern

Start with a small collection and a written task definition. Compare suggestions with reviewed examples, record specific errors, and create a correction path for every derivative. Measure review effort as well as output quality before expanding the scope. Keep unsupported answers out of the published collection.

AN EXAMPLE TO THINK THROUGH

A model may suggest “RSS” for an article that mentions it only once. A reviewer can reject that tag while retaining an otherwise accurate summary. The two annotations should not share one all-or-nothing approval field.

What this page does—and does not—offer

No model runs on this website. TagsFeed has no official model-provider partnerships and does not offer automated tagging as a hosted service.
