The core idea
A downloadable feed can carry article records and topics without accepting writes or personalized queries. A hosted API adds operational expectations such as authentication, request behavior, availability, and support. Keep those categories distinct so a reader does not mistake explanatory data examples for a working endpoint.
A workable starting pattern
Define the consumer’s task and choose a documented representation. Preserve stable identifiers and canonical links. Validate the data and the editorial content separately. If the future workflow needs private records or query parameters, specify those as additional requirements instead of presenting them as features of a static file.
A publisher can provide its own RSS file for reading. That does not imply that paths resembling an API, access keys, or a live tagging operation exist. Navigation should point to actual files or explanatory guides.
What this page does—and does not—offer
TagsFeed has no live API, API keys, account system, or query endpoint. Its RSS file contains the site’s own published guides.
