Bought vs. homemade at it again - comparing burrito bowls! 🌯🌯
I do NOT think it’s unhealthy or bad to buy your food out - you can absolutely make healthy choices. As you can see the calorie difference is not that that much 👍🏼
However, making it yourself does save $$ •
Made this burrito bowl with that formula 😉👉🏼
🥗 2 (minimum) cups veggies (1 tomato + 1/4 onion + 1/2 bell pepper + 2 cups lettuce). Stir-fried the pepper on LOW heat to make it nice & juicy 😋
🧀 100-200 calories of fats (1/3 cup shredded cheese)
🍗 4-5oz protein (4oz chicken - I like the pre-grilled strips from Trader Joe’s!)

👍 Yes... Homemade is still the best way...
Looks cheaper but like it lacks seasoning. Why is that chicken so white?
If its 170 calories to season my chicken then I guess that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
Hmmmm where r u shopping
Wow every ingredient must have been 25 cents or less!
Wtf is this? There are so many things wrong with this picture.
What ? Organic chicken breast cost 5$ plus veggies 😂
But the chicken don’t taste the sameeee
Just the bag of shredded cheese costs that 😂
Some of you seem confused. Usually when they price like this it's due to them only using half the full product or less, thus the final cost. Not to mention all the left out flavorings, pico de gallo vs just tomato and onion, etc.
Chicken it self at least is going to cost $2 so this is very invalid
I’m totallyyyy down with homemade and do it too, but those huge chunks of tomatoes ain’t cutting it as salsa lol
